Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- ¼ Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
- ½ Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- ⅓ Cup Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar for Strawberries
- 1 Cup MIES ORIGINAL BREADING (Or Your MIES BREADING of Choice)
- 1 Stick Salted Butter, Melted
- 4 Slices Brioche Bread
- 1 Cup Sliced Strawberries
- Maple Syrup, For Serving
- Powdered Sugar, For Serving
Instructions
- In a large nonstick skillet, heat the butter over medium-low heat.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Set aside.
- In another shallow dish, whisk MIES BREADING, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Set aside.
- Add sugar to strawberries.
- Set aside.
- One by one, dunk each bread slice in the egg mixture (flip to coat both sides).
- Then place bread slice into the breading mixture.
- Press down gently so that surface is covered (flip and coat the other side).
- Place bread slice into the skillet with the butter and cook on the first side for 5 to 6 minutes watching closely to make sure coating doesn’t burn.
- Note – If coating starts to darken too fast, turn down your heat and watch.
- Flip slice of bread and cook for 3 minutes.
- Serve French Toast with strawberries, powdered sugar, and maple syrup.
